ASU THREE RIVERS STUDENT CANDI PIERCE NAMED 2026 CHIME WORKFORCE SCHOLAR
MALVERN, Ark. – Arkansas State University Three Rivers student Candi Pierce has been named a 2026 Chime Workforce Scholar, joining 200 students nationwide recognized for their academic achievement and pursuit of career-focused education.
Pierce, who is pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in General Business at ASU Three Rivers, will receive a $1,000 scholarship to assist with educational expenses. She is expected to graduate in December and plans to pursue a career in office administration, where she can apply the skills and knowledge gained through her studies at ASU Three Rivers.
While working a full-time job, Pierce has continued to carry a full course load and demonstrate a strong commitment to completing her degree and preparing for her future career.
“Candi is an exceptional student who continuously goes above and beyond in her studies,” Dr. T. Wayne Clark, ASU Three Rivers Senior Instructor of Business said. “Balancing full-time employment with a full course load requires tremendous dedication. We are incredibly proud of what she has accomplished and are excited to see her recognized through this scholarship.”
The Chime Workforce Scholarship is funded by the Chime Scholars Foundation and administered by the Phi Theta Kappa Foundation. The program provides $1,000 scholarships to students completing certificates or associate degrees that prepare them to enter the workforce in high-demand fields.

We’re proud to support students who are working hard to gain in-demand skills and build better futures for themselves and their families,” said Jeni Izuel, president of the Chime Scholars Foundation.
The scholarship program is designed to support students preparing for careers that strengthen their communities and local economies while helping build a pipeline of skilled workers in high-demand fields.
